Tried this. One large potatoe from the sack was enough for 2 people depending on how thick you slice. Using a mandalin or the slicer below, cuts thin enough and gives the real experience of a chip. Season them however you like, obay, salt & vinegar, cheese to name a few. Turned out pretty good and most of all fresh everytime.
Here is the Quick Simple Recipe:
- Deep fry 2 sliced potatoes in vegetable oil or oil of choice for 2-3 minutes
- Avoid overcrowdering fryer to prevent sticking
- Remove from pan and drain
- Season with coarse salt or favorite seasonings
- Enjoy!!!
